Ithaca, NY.  February 15, 2007  -   Sale of Beach Home Brings $1.2 Million to Scholarship Fund

The sale 70 Ninigret Avenue, Charlestown, Rhode Island will bring $1,225,000 to an Engineering College scholarship program.

The beautiful beach cottage of approximately 1,400SF, located on .33 acres on the Rhode Island coast was donated to the University in December 2006 by Richard Smith (’39) and Sybil Smith.

The proceeds of the sale will ultimately benefit the McMullen Scholarship in the College of Engineering.
