Making a place for Seneca Place

The building at 128-134 E. Seneca St., at the corner of Tioga Street, which formerly housed Race Office Equipment, is half-demolished Wednesday after two days of work by Ontario Specialty Contracting of Buffalo. Construction of Seneca Place on the Commons, a nine-story hotel and office building on the site, is expected to begin this month. The newly expanded and renamed Race Office Supply and Variety Store, is now open at 123 The Commons with an extended range of merchandise.
